Help invention happen

It takes more than a great idea to give young inventors their shot. Judges ask good questions. Sponsors and donors make opportunities possible. Community partners bring invention closer to home.

However you want to help, there’s a place for you at InventMO.

Two Invention Convention judges review student projects and record their evaluations on clipboards.

Volunteer & Judge

You don’t have to be an inventor to help one become better.

InventMO judges and volunteers bring their own experiences and perspectives to the competition, encourage students, ask thoughtful questions, and help recognize great work.

Judges can come from all kinds of professional and personal backgrounds. No previous judging experience is required. If you’re comfortable working with students in grades 3 through 12 and following a scoring rubric, we’ll give you what you need to take part.

START A REGIONAL PROGRAM

Help invention take root where you live

InventMO is working to grow a network of regional invention hubs across Missouri, giving more students opportunities to learn, build, and compete in their own communities.

Schools, educational organizations, and community partners can help make that possible by bringing a regional invention program to their area.
